Sen. Rob Hutton, a Republican representing Wisconsin's 5th Senate district since 2023, shared updates on legislative efforts and community events through several posts on September 19, 2025.

In his first post of the day, Hutton highlighted his testimony on new legislation: "This week I testified on SB 267, a bill that waives the state's business startup fee for 18-year-olds in high school. Removing this barrier will help young entrepreneurs become tomorrow's business leaders - I'm grateful for the broad bipartisan support this bill has received!" (September 19, 2025).

Later that afternoon, Hutton recognized POW-MIA Recognition Day with a message honoring American service members: "Today, on POW-MIA Recognition Day, we remember and honor the American service members who were prisoners of war and those who never returned home. You are not forgotten." (September 19, 2025).

In an additional post that evening, he commented on a local event: "Feeling overwhelmed at the large Brookfield thrift sale!" (September 19, 2025).

Hutton began serving in the Wisconsin State Senate after being elected in 2023 to represent the state's 5th district. He succeeded Dale Kooyenga in this role.
