On September 17, 2025, Gustafson expressed gratitude toward local emergency personnel, writing: "Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Fox Crossing Fire Department Open House at Station 40 . Thank you to the dedicated firefighters who work tirelessly to keep our community safe."
Two days later, on September 19, he highlighted his involvement in a technology investment event by posting: "Yesterday, I attended @Microsoft's Infrastructure Investment Announcement and Roundtable, where we discussed their investment and what it means for Wisconsin’s future. Most recently, on September 20, Gustafson noted his participation in a public gathering related to conservative activist Charlie Kirk: "This past week I attended and spoke at a Vigil for Charlie Kirk. It was touching to see so many people come together to stand united for truth."
Gustafson succeeded Rachael Cabral-Guevara as representative of Wisconsin's 55th House district following his election in 2023.
