On September 14, 2025, Tusler highlighted recent legislative action in the Wisconsin Assembly: "Big win for WI taxpayers! Assembly Republicans passed @RepAlexDallman's bill Thursday, blocking any subsidies or reimbursements for health care to illegal immigrants. Hardworking families shouldn't foot that bill. Wisconsinites' money stays with Wisconsinites."
Tusler has served in the Wisconsin State House since being elected in 2017 to represent the state's 3rd House district after succeeding Alvin Ott.
