FOIA Request to Town Of Brothertown Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
Fox Cities News, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, has submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law for a list of new voters who registered on November 5, 2024.
The request was made in the pursuit of transparency and accountability from public institutions. As a news organization, we at Fox Cities News believe that access to such public records is essential in fulfilling our professional responsibilities which include disseminating important information to the public.
In line with this commitment, we have asked for these records preferably in an electronic format and have also requested a fee waiver as a media professional. We await a response from the Town Of Brothertown and will continue to work towards ensuring transparency and accountability in our local government.
