In our pursuit of transparency and accountability in public institutions, we sought a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024. This information is essential for us at Fox Cities News as it aids in our mission to keep the public informed about important developments within their communities.
As a member of the media, we believe that access to public records is crucial in fulfilling our professional responsibilities. Given our role in disseminating information to the public, we requested a fee waiver as a media professional under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq.
