The University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh hosted the 32nd annual Celebration of Scholarship and Creative Activity on April 23 and 24, showcasing research and creative works by students and faculty. This year's event included presentations from various university departments, with awards given for notable entries.

A new format was introduced this year, with graduate student and faculty presentations taking place on the afternoon of April 23, culminating in the WiSys Quick Pitch competition. Undergraduate presentations were held throughout the day on April 24, followed by a Provost Awards Reception.

The event covered diverse topics, such as the presence of bacteria in natural environments, the impact of fall prevention education programs, the body mass of ground squirrels post-hibernation, and the effects of external helmet padding on head movement in football. Among the creative contributions, a student transformed one of her uncle's poems into a choral arrangement to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his passing.

UWO has a reputation for its emphasis on undergraduate research and faculty mentorship, which are crucial for students' professional and personal growth. The Celebration of Scholarship provides an important platform for highlighting these efforts.

Further details about the event and a photo gallery are available through the UWO Office of Student Research and Creative Activity and the COSCA 2025 event program.
