Polk Library at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is facing significant structural issues, and its renovation has become a priority. The 63-year-old building requires substantial updates to avoid further deterioration.

On March 10, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers included the library's renovation project in his capital budget recommendations for the upcoming biennium. This move signals a step forward for UWO leadership and supporters who are advocating for investment in the Polk Learning Commons during the state biennial budget process.

In an effort to support this cause, Grace Lim's Quest III class, "Telling Stories for Fun, Profit and World Peace," produced a short film. The film draws inspiration from campy horror genres to emphasize the urgent need for revitalizing the library. More information can be found at uwosh.edu/polkredefined.
