A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Town of Grand Chute in Wisconsin on November 7, 2024. The request, made by Fox Cities News, sought details about new voter registrations from the recent election held on November 5, 2024.

We have requested these records under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., and have asked for them to be provided in an electronic format for ease of analysis.
The request specifically asks for a list of voters who registered on Election Day itself. This information is crucial as it provides insights into the level of citizen engagement and participation in our democratic process.
