Census Bureau: 76.4% of people in Calumet County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 52,128 citizens living in Calumet County in 2021, 76.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 39,831 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 20,033 were male, constituting 50.3%, and 19,798 were female, making up 49.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Calumet County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 78%.
