Why did you choose the Nursing - RN Associate Degree career program?

I love biology and helping people. Nursing is the perfect combination of both!

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?

I love learning about how the human body works and how we can help make things better. Understanding how meds and treatment affect the body is incredibly fascinating!

Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?

FVTC is close to home and has a fantastic reputation. Those two factors made the decision to attend here very easy.

How has Fox Valley Technical College helped you change your life?

FVTC has enabled me to work full-time and attend school without issue. Additionally, the partnership with the area YMCAs has allowed my wife and me some time to work on our health while providing a safe place for my children to play.

What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?

I would love to work in an emergency department at a hospital.

In one sentence, what's your best advice for someone who's not sure they're ready for college?

Start with a light course load. It may take an extra semester or two, but it will allow you to acclimate to a college environment.
