The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh's College of Business has successfully extended its accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. This achievement places the university among 60 institutions nationwide that have maintained this prestigious endorsement.

Dean Frank Braun expressed satisfaction with the renewed accreditation, stating, "We are thrilled to earn another AACSB endorsement. This accreditation is difficult to achieve. UWO remains the only AACSB accredited business school in the Fox Valley region." He emphasized that this accomplishment reflects the dedication of faculty and staff towards UWO's mission and its evolving academic structure aimed at meeting regional economic needs.

The College of Business has held AACSB accreditation since 1970 and currently serves over 1,160 undergraduate students and more than 130 MBA students. The rigorous accreditation process involves a comprehensive evaluation focusing on strategic management, innovation, research, teaching, and learning.

Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Ed Martini highlighted the practical opportunities available to students: "Oshkosh and the Fox Valley are full of partner organizations and incredible experiential learning opportunities for Titans to put their educations to work."

Stephanie Bryant, executive vice president and global chief accreditation officer at AACSB, noted that earning accreditation reflects a school's commitment not only to its immediate community but also to society as a whole.

UWO’s College of Business offers a variety of majors including accounting, economics, finance, human resources, information systems, management, marketing, and supply chain management. It also provides minors in areas such as analytics and cybersecurity. The college hosts distinctive programs like the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence and the Student Managed Endowment Fund.

According to UWO’s First Destination early-alumni success survey for the class of 2022-23, 87.5% of graduates secured career outcomes shortly after graduation. Notable employers include Amcor, Baker Tilly, SECURA Insurance, U.S. Bank, Oshkosh Corporation among others.
