Cost of college went up for all students at The Salon Professional Academy-Appleton

Tuition and fees rose 6.7 percent for 2018-19 at The Salon Professional Academy-Appleton, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Wisconsin students paid $15,900 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $1,000 more than the $14,900 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 94 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 24 students received grants or scholarships totaling $133,195 and 28 students took out student loans totaling more than $193,296.

Including all undergraduates (62), 57 students used grants or scholarships totaling $285,253, and 61 students took out $409,769 in federal student loans.
