Oshkosh Area School District Superintendent Bryan Davis (2023) | Oshkosh Area School District
Applications are now open for the second cohort of the Oshkosh Schools Academy, a program organized by the Oshkosh Area School District (OASD) to give community members insight into district operations and strategic priorities.
Dr. Bryan Davis, superintendent of OASD, said, "We were so encouraged by the passionate and engaged community members who participated in our first cohort. The Oshkosh Schools Academy is a vital program for building a stronger, more informed partnership between our schools and the community we serve. We are eager to welcome our next cohort and continue this important work together."
The upcoming academy will take place over seven months, starting in October 2025 and ending in April 2026. Sessions will be held monthly on the third Friday from 8-10 a.m. at the OASD Administration Office. Topics will include district operations, academic priorities, and community engagement.
The application period runs through September 19, 2025, with space available for 20-30 participants. Applicants will be notified about their status by September 23.
Trina Woldt, Director of Leadership Oshkosh, commented on her experience: "The Oshkosh Schools Academy gave me a behind-the-scenes look at the passion, challenges, and dedication driving our schools. I feel more connected, informed, and ready to be part of the solution.”
