On Saturday, April 12, former Kimberly High School standout Megan McGinnis’ current college team, the Saint Mary's Cardinals, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Bethel Royals.

The game took place at Saint Mary's Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Royals this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Mabel Shirley Field against St. Olaf Oles.
