On Saturday, April 5, former Appleton North High School standout Garrett Hietpas’ current college team, the Winona State Warriors, lost 10-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at UMC Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at UMC Baseball Field against Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.
