On Tuesday, March 25, former Hortonville High School standout Thomas Burns’ current college team, the Texas Longhorns, won 13-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Sam Houston Bearkats.

The game took place at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. This was their first matchup against the Bearkats this season.

The Longhorns’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Taylor Stadium at Simmons Field against Missouri Tigers.
