Sunday, March 9: Hortonville High School standout Maggie Werner’s college team loses to LSU Lady Tigers

On Sunday, March 9, former Hortonville High School standout Maggie Werner’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 10-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the LSU Lady Tigers.

The game took place at Tiger Park. This was their second matchup against the Lady Tigers this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 1 p.m. at Lamar Softball Complex against McNeese State Cowgirls.
