The Oshkosh Area School District celebrated the achievements of its educators at the 2025 Celebrate Education event. Hosted by the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation on March 10, 2025, the annual event acknowledges the dedication of local teachers, principals, coaches, and volunteers.
"Celebrate Education is an annual event honoring local teachers, principals, coaches, and volunteers for their continuous hard work and dedication to the students of Oshkosh," the school district stated. Sponsored by organizations such as the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation and the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, the event offered grants to public and private school educators for special programs.
Various awards were distributed, including the UW-Oshkosh Outstanding Elementary Teacher Awards and the Edward and Belle Rudoy Outstanding Middle School Teacher Awards. The OASD Education Foundation contributed over $9,000 for district awards this year.
Some grant awards and projects recognized included "Tassels For Tomorrow" by Cassandra Albrecht at OASD, "Expanding Oshkosh North High School’s Test Prep Library" by Timothy Bonson, and "Mental Strength" by Jessica Hansen at Oshkosh West High School, among others.
The OASD Spirit of Education Award was presented to Trina Woldt for her outstanding service to the district and wider community. Superintendent Bryan Davis expressed his honor in recognizing Woldt, stating, "Her work doesn't just support education in Oshkosh – it transforms lives and builds a stronger, more connected community." Woldt's contributions through the Leadership Oshkosh program have fostered youth and professional development.
The district extended congratulations to the educators who were acknowledged at the event, underscoring their commitment to providing modern and engaging learning experiences.
