Henry Repeating Arms has decided to move its entire manufacturing operations from Bayonne, New Jersey, to Rice Lake, Wisconsin. The company is also establishing two additional facilities in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, and plans to acquire a third facility there by mid-summer 2025.
Anthony Imperato, Founder and CEO of Henry Repeating Arms, stated: “We are putting all of our eggs in one basket, the Wisconsin basket because it makes us more efficient, more productive, and allows for more collaboration amongst our design and engineering teams, all while sustaining and enhancing Henry’s solid reputation for quality." He highlighted that with approximately 400,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing across four facilities in close proximity to each other, the company is poised for future growth.
Andrew Wickstrom, President of Henry Repeating Arms, emphasized the significance of this transition: “This transition allows us to double down on what we do best—making world-class rifles, shotguns, and revolvers right here in the heart of America.” He noted that their Wisconsin operations have been vital to their success and now form the foundation for future developments.
The relocation aims to increase production capacity and support innovative firearm designs. It is expected to accelerate speed to market while streamlining distribution and enhancing quality control. Corey Graff from Wisconsin Gun Owners (WGO) expressed support for the move: “Wisconsin Gun Owners (WGO) congratulates Henry Repeating Arms on moving its complete manufacturing operations to northern Wisconsin and expanding its production here in our state."
