The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (UW-Oshkosh) Women's Soccer team has been featured on the cover of the new Discover Oshkosh visitor's guide. The photograph captures the team taking a selfie in front of the "Oshkosh" postcard mural located off Main Street in downtown Oshkosh.

The Oshkosh Convention & Visitors Bureau, through its Discover Oshkosh initiative, quickly arranged for a photographer to capture this iconic moment. Amy Albright, Executive Director of the Oshkosh Convention & Visitors Bureau, highlighted the significance of this image as it reflects the bond between the community and the university.

"We have been thinking deeply about place at Discover Oshkosh—what attracts us here and gives us joy," Albright stated. "This candid moment we captured of the women’s soccer team in front of the new postcard mural said so much about the big questions we are asking. How do we get people moving around and across the community? How do we deepen their sense of pride? How can we all see ourselves as important contributions to the same special place? We hope this next year is a year of connection for everyone living in or visiting Oshkosh, and we know UWO will continue to be a big partner in the efforts!"

The guide offers detailed information on dining options and events in Oshkosh, presented in an appealing format by the Oshkosh Convention & Visitors Bureau. The comprehensive booklet can be accessed online at: https://www.visitoshkosh.com/visitor-guides/.
