FOIA Request to City of Neenah Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
In our continuous efforts to ensure transparency and accountability in public institutions, we at Fox Cities News have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for records pertaining to new voter registrations that occurred on November 5, 2024.
As a media organization dedicated to comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we believe access to these public records is crucial for fulfilling our professional responsibilities. The information will aid us in providing an informed perspective on the electoral process and ensuring that the public is aware of any changes or developments.
We requested these records preferably in electronic format for ease of access and analysis. Given our role in gathering and reporting news to the public, we also requested a fee waiver as a media professional.
