The AASD Career & Technical Education/Family Consumer Science Department Director is seeking feedback from various stakeholders on recommended instructional materials for their courses.
According to the AASD Career & Technical Education/Family Consumer Science Department Director, individuals such as staff members, students, parents, and residents have the opportunity to examine and provide feedback on the instructional materials under consideration. The feedback received will play a crucial role in determining the final selection of materials to be recommended to the AASD Board of Education.
The Director specifically requests feedback on materials related to courses such as Child Development, Intro to Teaching, and Technical Education. Some of the materials up for review include "Child & Adolescent Development" by Crosby Bergin, Bergin, "Those Who Can, Teach" by Ryan, Cooper, Mason Bolick, Callahan, and "Technical Education for Meaningful Classroom Use" by Cennamo, Ross, Ertmer.
Interested parties can access examination copies of the instructional materials and provide feedback through either a printed form or an online feedback form. These materials and forms will be available for review from April 8, 2024, until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at designated locations including the AASD Leadership Center and the AASD Welcome Center in Appleton, WI.
