City of Appleton recently issued the following announcement.

Appleton Yard Sites Fully Reopen
The City of Appleton will fully reopen our 2-yard waste sites, accepting EXACT dollar amounts for chargeable items beginning Friday, June 12th. To protect the safety of our customers and employees, we will be following social distancing practices (including using a grabber tool) to safely and efficiently complete each chargeable transaction. To reduce exposure and help keep the line moving, we ask that you plan ahead and bring the EXACT dollar amount for your items. Both sites are open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9:00 am to 6:45 pm.
Whitman Site (701 S. Whitman)
- grass $4/bag
- yard waste/brush and 10 gallons of motor oil are free.
- tires $5 each
- appliances $15 / $20
- garbage $15 / $35
- grass $4/bag
