The majority of students in Winnebago County districts were white in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of the 21,465 students attending Winnebago County district schools, 70.5% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnic group within Winnebago County’s districts, making up 9.8% of the student body.

In the previous school year, white students were also the most common group in Winnebago County districts, representing 72.3% of the student body.

Menasha Joint School District had the most even distribution of races among county districts, which included 54.2% of white students, 23.2% of Hispanic students, 8.5% of multiracial students, 7.9% of African American students, 5.4% of Asian students, and 0.1% of Pacific Islander students.

In the 2024-25 school year, the total number of students enrolled in school districts in the county dropped to 0.7% compared to the previous year.

The main offices of all districts mentioned in the story are located in cities associated with Winnebago County.
