Titans alumni often achieve remarkable milestones in their careers, and Paige Bonanno's journey is no exception. A 2014 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (UWO), Bonanno now serves as an Executive Producer with Walt Disney Studios in Los Angeles, California.

In a recent episode of UW-Oshkosh Communication Studies Professor Tony Palmeri’s “498 Show” podcast, Bonanno was featured as a guest. The podcast derives its name from the course COMM 498 (Capstone in Communication Studies).

“When the class was only offered in-person, we would traditionally ask a few alum each semester to visit campus to talk to current students about life post-UWO,” Palmeri explained. “When the Covid period made Zoom usage more prominent in education, we would have a mix of alum appearing in-person and via zoom.”

Palmeri expressed his enthusiasm for reconnecting with alumni through this platform. “So far it has been a joy to reconnect with our alumni,” he said. He also mentioned that his colleagues believe these videos will serve as an effective recruitment tool.

The podcast aims to showcase what UWO has to offer by featuring successful alumni like Bonanno.
