Representative Ron Tusler has used social media to comment on recent developments surrounding the Brillion dredging project and Governor Tony Evers' actions regarding its funding. In a series of posts, Tusler highlighted his perspective on the governor's veto and subsequent decisions by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

On July 9, 2025, Tusler stated, "Governor Evers tried to kill the Brillion dredging project with a 1:30 AM veto, but thanks to pressure from local residents, the DNR is now funding it anyway. This win belongs to the people of Brillion, who refused to back down. Please see my full press release below: https://t.co/57KAXbwe2r".

Later that day, he posted another message about Governor Evers’ response to criticism over the veto. On July 9, 2025, Tusler wrote, "Governor Evers' new explanation for his 1:30 AM veto is a flat-out lie. Not even the media is willing to cover for him. https://t.co/99nAQy8Nb5".

On July 12, 2025, Tusler continued his criticism with another post stating, "DNR Funds Dredging Project, Evers Pretends He Never Vetoed at 1:30 AM - https://t.co/ofMHXfFRIQ".

The Brillion dredging project has been a point of contention in Wisconsin politics. The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is responsible for managing natural resources in Wisconsin and often plays a key role in environmental projects such as this one.
