ThedaCare has announced the appointment of Kellie Diedrick as the senior vice president of its South Region. In her new role, Diedrick will oversee operations at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah and new health campuses in Fond du Lac and Oshkosh.
"This is an important time in health care," Diedrick stated. "We are taking strides to shape what the future of care looks like in Wisconsin. I am honored to lead our strategic efforts to continue developing innovative initiatives to strengthen patient care, empowering our team members and building a healthier future – together."
Diedrick joined ThedaCare in 2018 as director of laboratory services, managing lab care across seven hospitals and 15 clinics. She most recently served as vice president of critical access hospitals, focusing on rural community needs and enhancing access to quality care.
"Kellie is dedicated to ThedaCare’s mission of improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve," said Lynn Detterman, president of the North Region of Froedtert ThedaCare Health. "She is an engaged leader who focuses on creating a collaborative environment where high-reliability teams can provide the best care possible for patients and our communities."
Throughout her tenure at ThedaCare, Diedrick has been instrumental in improving patient outcomes, guiding system labs through the pandemic, opening a behavioral health clinic in Waupaca, and earning recognition for two hospitals as Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals nationwide.
Before joining ThedaCare, Diedrick led laboratory services at various healthcare systems within the state. Her experience includes expanding lab operations and establishing a center of excellence. She holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science and is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
