On Friday, March 28, former Hortonville High School standout Maggie Werner’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Northwestern Wildcats.

The game took place at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 11 a.m. at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium against Northwestern Wildcats.
