The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh's Radio TV Film (RTF) students have been recognized at the Door County Film Festival with multiple selections. Four projects by RTF students were chosen for screening, highlighting the program's ability to nurture creative talent.

Beth Hubbard, chair of the Radio TV Film Department, expressed pride in the students' achievements. "We’re incredibly proud of our students and their continued success," she said. "These selections are a testament to their hard work, creativity, and the strong foundation they built during their time at UWO. It’s inspiring to see them share their stories with the world."

The Door County Film Festival is known for celebrating storytelling and filmmaking excellence. It offers a platform for both emerging and established filmmakers. The festival will take place at Northern Sky’s Gould Theater in Fish Creek from February 13-15, with an online portion from February 16-23.

Hubbard noted that the selection of UWO student projects underscores the strength of the RTF program in developing future industry leaders.

The selected projects include:

- "Do You Mind" produced by Becca Hawbaker, directed by Veda Kistenmacher, with sound design by Alex Walczak and editing by Kennedy Osterman.

- "Before Closing" produced by Lauren Sweetman, directed by Ben Leasum, with cinematography by Thatcher Lemond and editing by Jadin Soukhaphaly.
