Todd VanDen Heuvel has joined Lawrence University as the associate vice president in the Office of Human Resources. With over 20 years of experience in human resources leadership within northeast Wisconsin, VanDen Heuvel's career includes serving as the executive human resources director at Oneida Nation since 2021. His past roles also include positions at North Star Mohican Casino & Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans, Winnebago Mental Health Institute, Brown County, and the State of Wisconsin.

At Lawrence University, VanDen Heuvel will take on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this position, he will lead the university's HR function and act as a strategic advisor to university leadership on HR matters. His responsibilities will include developing HR’s strategic plan to ensure it aligns with the university and its entities, creating and implementing HR policies and guidelines, and collaborating with campus constituents to connect university strategies and policies with faculty and staff.
