Menominee Elementary School, which opened for the 2024-2025 school year, represents a new chapter in Oshkosh's educational landscape. This state-of-the-art facility unites the former Merrill, Washington, and Webster Stanley Elementary School communities and includes innovative features designed to enhance the learning experience such as flexible learning spaces, a media center, and a modern gymnasium.

"This event celebrates the opening of the new school and highlights our community's commitment to providing exceptional educational opportunities for our children," stated a district representative. Funded as part of the $107 million capital referendum approved by voters in November 2020, Menominee Elementary marks the completion of the first phase of the District's four-phase facilities consolidation plan.

Parking and Entry Information:

Parking will be available on-site at Menominee Elementary with additional parking on nearby streets. Guests can enter through the main entrance on Hazel Street (Door 1), the E Melvin Street entrance (Door 13), or the back parking lot entrance (Door 5).

"We encourage all community members—families, educators, and residents—to join us for this momentous occasion," added another representative. "It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our shared investment in the future of Oshkosh's children and experience the incredible learning environment we’ve created together."
