The Oshkosh Parks Department’s administration office is now open in their new building at 805 Witzel Avenue. Residents may continue using the many online services available on the Parks Department’s webpage, or conduct business at the new building. Office hours will remain Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, closed for lunch from Noon to 1:00 pm. The telephone number also will stay the same, (920) 236-5080.
While the administration portion of the building is now open for service, the field operations portion of the building remains under construction. Completion of the operations portion is expected before the end of 2023. When the entire facility is complete, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be announced.
Parks administration and operations staff have been operating out of temporary facilities provided by the Department of Public Works since August 10, 2022. The new facility replaces an aging and inefficient 1960’s building that was previously at the same location. Parks Department staff are eager to serve residents with all of the benefits of this new facility and its capabilities. For any questions relating to the new Parks facilities, please contact Oshkosh Parks Director Ray Maurer at (920) 236-5080.
