OSHKOSH, Wis., – Oshkosh’s GO Transit is pleased to be able to offer free bus rides for students in grades 6-12 for the 2023-2024 school year. Effective September 1, 2023, students will be required to have a new GO Transit Student Identification Card for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. No other forms of ID will be valid for this program for students in grades 6-12.

Students are able to obtain a GO Transit Student Pass ID at the GO Transit office for the upcoming school year. To obtain an ID, an application form must be completed, and is available online. If a student is under the age of 18, the form will need to be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Forms will also be available at the GO Transit office, 926 Dempsey Trail, or additional forms can be emailed upon request. Once the form is filled out, the student will need to stop by the GO Transit office to obtain their pass. Their information will be verified using the student list sent by the district. Their photo will be taken for their ID, and then the ID will be printed.

Students can obtain their passes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the GO Transit office, 926 Dempsey Trail, during regular business hours from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. For convenience to students on the north side, passes also will be available on Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Downtown Transit Center, 110 Pearl Ave. If you have any questions, please contact the GO Transit office at 920-232-5340.
