Mayor Dean Addresses Continued COVID-19 Response
Neenah Residents:
Last week, during a Be Safe Wisconsin conference call, Dr. Andrabi, President and CEO ThedaCare, made it crystal clear that Coronavirus cases are continuing to grow at an alarming rate. We all must do what we can to flatten the curve while recognizing that people need to work, socialize and carry on with our lives as best as we can during these unprecedented times.
We all have to be cognizant of what we can do to help and of the importance of following the CDC guidelines to help control the spread of this virus. Simple things like:
- Wash hands often
- Stay home if you’re sick or not feeling well
- Social distance at least 6 feet apart
- Wear a mask when in public
- Avoid large gatherings
In early August I ordered a mask order throughout all Neenah government buildings including City Hall and any city government facility requiring all employees and visitors to wear masks when in common areas or speaking with another person in their work area. This order remains in effect at this time for any city building.
Everyone must do their part in order to get this virus under control. So in order to do your part, please do these simple things to help us get through these difficult times.
Let’s all do our best to work together to get through this healthy and safe.
Mayor Dean
