CITY OF KAUKAUNA: Face Coverings Required in City-Owned Buildings/Facilities

Facemask

City of Kaukauna issued the following announcement on July 21

“From the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, our focus and priority has been, and continues to be, on the health and safety of our employees and residents of the City of Kaukauna. Therefore, effective Wednesday, July 22nd, face coverings will be required when inside any city-owned building/facility for all employees, as well as visitors, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We recognize the role we can play to help protect the health and well-being of our staff and our community by following the evolving guidance of health officials like the CDC. We as a City cannot afford to let this virus wipe out any of our departments, especially police, fire, streets and/or our utilities. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our employees and visitors in wearing face coverings to protect their safety and the safety of their fellow neighbor.

As a reminder, we ask residents and other visitors to please first consider using our website or calling the appropriate department for assistance. We offer many options to serve residents’ needs without making an in-person visit. Please note that person-to-person meetings between the public and staff are available by appointment only. Please call the appropriate department to make arrangements.
